All shortcuts use Mac notation. Cmd = Command key.

Text Formatting

Link a Workspace File Type @
Follow Link Cmd+Click (Ctrl+Click on Windows/Linux)

Type @ anywhere to open the file search picker and insert a Markdown link to any workspace file. Cmd+Click follows internal links too as of v1.7.2 — see Text Formatting.

Headings & Table of Contents

Set heading to H1–H6 ⌥⌘1 – ⌥⌘6 Ctrl+Alt+1 – Ctrl+Alt+6

As of v1.7.2, these shortcuts work globally in the editor and as a single undo step. You can also right-click any row in the Table of Contents and choose "Change heading level".

Tips

  • Bubble menu - Select text to see formatting options without memorizing shortcuts
  • Slash commands - Faster than shortcuts for inserting blocks
  • Standard shortcuts - Most Mac shortcuts (Cmd+C, Cmd+V, etc.) work as expected
